Heather Weston is a multidisciplinary artist who’s work over the years have dealt with the mourning process, grief, sociopolitical topics in gender and overall how she digests her immediate relationships and environments. These works are realized through performance, installation, photography, hand-sewing and painting. She is interested in Western iconography in speaking about America’s history in relation to the current political climate; topics in pain, power and control.  Weston currently lives and works in New York City.
